I have been using Dreamhost for about three months. A friend recommended them when I was moving some sites because of problems with my old host. I am very glad I chose them.

I currently have a shared hosting account with them for $8 bucks a month. Initially I had something like 1-2 gigs for storage but they have been upgrading accounts all the time, with new bonuses. For example on June they started growing accounts by 20MB disk and 1GB bandwidth each week (more for the more expensive plans).

In the start I could host only 3 domains and 15 subdomains but now they are giving unlimited domains and subdomains to all accounts as a free bonus. This kind of stuff means they actually care about the customers. Blackhat-seo.com is currently hosted on Dreamhost and downtime has been minimal so far (as well as problems in general).

Support is quite fast, as everytime I have posted a ticket I got a response within 1-2 hours and even less when a site was down or some other serious problem.

Now, shared hosting isn’t usually good for mass blackhat sites and I prefer to use it for my white hat stuff, although with the recent bonus of unlimited domains they are certainly more than suitable. I also have a server with them for $99 a month to host blackhat stuff and it has been top notch so far. Anyway, I highly recommend them to anyone that wants a reliable host.
