Really Simple Site Generator

What it is:

RSSG stands for “Really Simple Site Generator”.

(Thank you Mark for thinking up this name)

A while ago I looked into site generators which generate websites based on a keyword list. I noticed that many of these sites looked very spammy and the costs for using a site generator were and are very high.

I decided to create my own site generator.

The cost:

Please consider donating an amount to really-simple.com if you enjoy and make use of the product.

The features:

* Generates a page per keyword.
* Generate the pages on the server.
* Displays the latest news (keyword based).
* Displays related links (keyword based).
* Displays images of the related links (if available).
* Grabs a random article from a folder in which you have placed articles. (if enabled)
* Displays a random amount of links to other generated pages in the menu.
* Sitemap.php shows a html sitemap of the site.
* Sitemap.xml shows a xml google sitemap of the site.

I like the recent trend of very good free tools. RSSG does more things than the standard content generators than the stuff that sells for $100-$800. No new ideas, but a great mixture of features. I also like the Rsstoblog module. If you are a cheapskate (who won’t pay/make for something custom) there’s no excuse to not start using RSSG (hey I’m even using it a bit myself).

No problem, with some extra work it will be a really good script. Keep up the good work and keep us updated if there’s any progress.
