Speeding up site creation with WHM

If you are building a lot of sites on reseller accounts you will see that you always have to FTP the some same files for each domain. They might be Traffic Equalizer files, other scripts, templates etc.
Here’s a nifty trick to avoid this step.

You got to your WHM panel and look for “Account Functions” on the left menu. Under “Account Functions” you should see “Skeleton Directory”. Click on that and you will go to a page that tells you where your skeleton directory is.

FTP to the domain you used for your reseller account and find your skeleton directory. Copy all the files you want in there. You are done!

Now every time you make a new account for a new domain all the files in the skeleton directory will be automatically copied to the new domain’s root folder.
