You can blog and ping an enormous amounts of blogs and there’s even a script that will help you not get banned at the pinging services. Then you can also create blogs to make money directly with rss feeds, snippets, datafeeds and more. If you are still using some old blogging software like RSS2BLOG, you need to consider upgrading.
