Naughty software: Voodoo Blogger

Someone reported at the Syndk8 fora that Voodoo Blogger (voodooblogger.com) is spying on you. When you create a blog with it, it contacts their server and saves your blog’s info. Another member reports that after he requested a refund, he got a note that all his previously created blogs now belonged to them.

Amy why do you spy on our spam? You are naughty. Talking about Amy, she’s also launching a membership site, for the small price of $497 per month (marketersos.com/membership.htm). Also, she isn’t going to launch it unless 100 members are reached. Amy, are you asking people to pay you $49,700 per month to spy on them?

The Mediarator Says:

It’s becoming increasingly more difficult to sift out the genuine internet marketers from the devious.

VExMaFuka Says:

omfg more “private” forums jesus fucking christ, stop this bs, 90% of “secrets” are avil in public o can be figured out quite easily i cant beliv any1 would pay this sorta money.

CountZero Says:

Yes, but the 10% of the secrets that’s not available in public is more important. Work this through some 80/20 thinking.

Private fora are awesome. But the members should not be paying to get in, the forum creator should be paying the members for joining. If you need to pay $500 or $1000 or whatever price tag some half-assed internet marketer puts on his newbie-laden membership site, then it’s not one of the private fora I’m talking about.

Rob Says:

HA! You think she would know better than that! Personally, I didn’t care for the billboard ads that she likes to put on all of her “programs”. I can see if you use a demo and she places them there… She does seem to be getting somewhat “hight and mighty”!

Tony Says:

does she think she’s john reese? She’s not even famous at ALL, who is stupid enough to pay $500 a month? they are throwing away their money

RUshur Says:

I tend to think that most people complaining here about Amy are upset because they don’t have to money to join themselves. I personally have people who pay $100/hr just for this type of guidance. Others pay up to $1000/mo for assistance in managing their blackhat marketing and still others that pay thousands of dollars for my software and built in approaches. $500/mo is nothing if the seller can actually deliver. Not saying Amy can deliver because I don’t know, but you can’t make a blanket statement that says just because she is not “famous” like John Reese et al that she’s not equally as intelligent. By the sounds of it, her techniques are far more advanced than the ones John shares anyway. My two cents.

Mine Says:

I love John Reese, but yes, Amy tactics are petty good. It is the element of the unknown.
