Quick SEO Tip: Rank for filetype queries

Add a dot and a file extension to your URLs and your site will show up for ‘filetype:’ queries on Google (and other engines I guess) even if you serve just html and not the assumed filetype. Search for filetype:torrent for some examples.

Great idea and easy to optimize, although the number of searches for filetype:keyword for non-existing filetypes is pretty low I assume. Interesting to play with anyway…
